Your data

Where your data lives.
And where it never goes.

Three places, and only three. If data is not in one of these, we do not have it.

On your device

  • Stamped JPEGs and originals
  • Projects, colour tags, visits, inspections, properties
  • Custom fields and stamp templates
  • Company branding and logo
  • Settings, privacy preferences, export quota

Written to the app-private documents directory. Never uploaded, never mirrored, never read by us. Removed in one tap — Erase my data.

Optional third parties

  • OpenStreetMap — raster tiles for map snapshots
  • Open-Meteo — current weather for the stamp
  • India Post — PIN code → post office lookup

Invoked only when you switch the feature on in Settings. Only the minimum payload leaves the device: coordinates, zoom and units. See §7.

Storefront & ads

  • Google Play / Apple StoreKit — Pro entitlement only
  • Google AdMob — free plan, ads and frequency capping
  • Google User Messaging Platform — consent status
  • Firebase Analytics — free plan, ad events only

Free tier only, and never for Pro subscribers. No photo, no GPS coordinate, no project name ever reaches an ad request.

Your rights

Six rights.
Two taps to exercise most of them.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you are the Data Principal and Trivartha is the Data Fiduciary. Here is what you can demand, and where the button lives.

Contact §13 →
Self-service

Erase everything
in three steps.

No email, no ticket, no waiting period. The full breakdown of what each step removes is in the Data Deletion guide.

  1. Export what you want to keep Share a PDF of each visit, inspection or property you care about. Anything you have not exported is deleted by step two.
  2. Settings → Privacy → “Erase my data” Confirm the dialog. The wipe is serialised and irreversible — deleted photos, projects and templates cannot be recovered.
  3. Cancel Pro & uninstall (optional) Cancel the subscription from your store account, then uninstall the app to remove the app shell itself.
FAQ

Questions,
answered plainly.

The six that come up most often. Everything else is in the documents themselves.

Does BharatGeoTag upload my photos or location data?

No. There is no server that receives your photos, GPS fixes, projects or visits — the stamp is composited onto the JPEG on your device and written to the app's private documents directory. We only see data you explicitly send us, such as the email you write to support@trivartha.com. See Privacy Policy §6.

Which permissions does the app request?

Only what it needs: CAMERA, ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION, INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, the FOREGROUND_SERVICE companions used by geolocator on Android 14+, and AD_ID on the free plan for ad personalisation. Microphone, background-location, contacts, SMS, call logs and photo-library are intentionally not requested. See Privacy Policy §4.

Do I need an account to use BharatGeoTag?

No. The free tier has no account, no sign-up and no email requirement. BharatGeoTag Pro uses your Google Play or App Store account purely as the billing identity. See Account Deletion §1.

How do I delete my data?

Open Settings → Privacy → Erase my data and confirm. That removes every file in the app's documents directory and resets every repository. For anything held outside your device — a support thread, a Pro purchase record — email support@trivartha.com. See Data Deletion.

Are there ads? What data do they see?

Only on the free plan, served by Google AdMob. The ad request may carry your device advertising identifier, and a small set of ad events (impression, click, failure, session length) is reported to Firebase Analytics — never a photo, a coordinate or a project name. Pro subscribers generate no ad requests at all. See Privacy Policy §7.

Who do I contact about a privacy complaint?

Our Grievance Officer — Jai Prakash Verma, Trivartha — at support@trivartha.com or +91-8433668083. We respond within 15 days; if we cannot resolve your complaint, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India under §27 of the DPDP Act, 2023. See Privacy Policy §13.
